If you are skippy dippy happily going to church on Easter Sunday, and/or having a special Easter gathering with others, stop and think of what you're doing. If you profess to be a Christian, then that means you are professing to be a follower of The Truth. Therefore, attending and participating in anything having to do with Easter Sunday is hypocritical, because it's a LIE.
Jesus is the truth:
"Jesus saith to him, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me;" -John 14:6
"but he who is doing the truth doth come to the light, that his works may be manifested, that in God they are having been wrought.'" -John 3:21
Easter has NOTHING to do with Christ! In fact, those who partake in Easter are partaking of the altar of demons:
"Ye are not able the cup of the Lord to drink, and the cup of demons; ye are not able of the table of the Lord to partake, and of the table of demons; do we arouse the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than He?" -1 Corinthians 10:21-22
Easter is the English pronunciation of the word Ishtar. Ishtar is another name for Ashtoreth. Therefore, Easter Sunday is actually Ashtoreth Sunday. Ashtoreth/Ashtoroth is also known under other names, such as Artemis, Isis, and Diana. She is the moon goddess of pagan religions, such as Wicca, and Secret Babylon, just to name a few.
"yea, they forsake Jehovah, and do service to Baal and to Ashtaroth." -Judges 2:13
"And it cometh to pass, at the time of the old age of Solomon, his wives have turned aside his heart after other gods, and his heart hath not been perfect with Jehovah his God, like the heart of David his father. And Solomon goeth after Ashtoreth god[dess] of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites; and Solomon doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and hath not been fully after Jehovah, like David his father." -1 Kings 11:4-6
As children of God, we are supposed to be "perfect with Jehovah," and that means we are to be "fully after Jehovah." This means forsaking ALL pagan religious holy days - including Easter.
Easter/Ashtoreth used to be served via a eucharistic service, where Ashtoreth was referred to as the queen of the heavens:
"Do not trust for yourselves
Unto the words of falsehood, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple
of Jehovah, The temple of Jehovah [are] they!... The sons
are gathering wood, And the fathers are causing the fire to burn, And
the women are kneading dough, To make cakes to the queen of the heavens,
And to pour out libations to other gods, So as to provoke Me to anger. Me are they provoking to anger? an affirmation of Jehovah, Is it not themselves, For the shame of their own faces?... And
they have not hearkened, nor inclined their ear, And they walk in the
counsels, In the stubbornness, of their evil heart, And are for
backward, and not for forward." -Jeremiah 7:4,18-19, and 24
The goddess Easter (Ashtoreth) has a symbol. It is the moon. Easter Sunday is on a different date each year, because it's on the Sunday following the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. It's on a SUNday to honor Baal - the sun god, and horned male deity, and it's called Easter, because it is named after Ishtar/Ashtoreth/Isis/Artemis/Diana, the moon goddess - thus to honor the sun god, it's always on a Sunday, and to honor the moon goddess, it is not only named after her, but also takes place on the first Sunday after the first full moon that takes place after the Spring Equinox.
If you want to celebrate Christ's resurrection, you should do so on Resurrection Day. We read in the Bible that Christ died on Passover, to be our Passover Lamb. We read in the Scriptures that He resurrected three days later. Thus, Resurrection Day is three days after Passover. This year (2021) TODAY (March 30/31) is Resurrection Day, as the third day after Passover began yesterday evening, and ends this evening.
HAPPY RESURRECT DAY, He has risen!
Celebrating Resurrection Day on Easter Sunday is an abomination, and an appearance of evil. We are not to partake of the table of Christ, and of the table of demons. We are to abstain from even the appearance of evil:
"all things prove; that which is good hold fast; from all appearance of evil abstain ye;" -1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
"Ye are
not able the cup of the Lord to drink, and the cup of demons; ye are not
able of the table of the Lord to partake, and of the table of demons; do we arouse the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than He?" -1 Corinthians 10:21-22
What did God think when the Israelites worshipped a golden calf, in addition to celebrating with a feast unto Him? He destroyed them, because He is a jealous and righteous God. We are forbidden in both Testaments from adding, partaking in, or mixing in pagan religious days with Christianity. Yet, that is what Lent, Ash Wednesday, Easter, and even Christmas are. These days, along with others such as Halloween, are an abomination to Jehovah! The Scriptures are explicitly clear on this.
Even hundreds of years before Christ was born as a human baby, Easter was celebrated on Easter Sunday. They would gather at a lake shore at sunrise for a sunrise service, in which they'd rape/impregnate virgins on the alter. Then, they'd take the 3 month old babies from the previous year's rapes, and sacrifice them on the altar. The children would then run up to the bloodied altar to make Easter eggs (eggs - a pagan fertility symbol) by dying eggs with the spilled blood of the the murdered infants.
Later that day, there would be a feast, usually including ham, as it was believed that their god Baal/Molech/Milcom was killed by a wild boar, but as a supposed god, was later brought back to life. The eating of boar/pig shows a triumph over the boar that killed their god, of whom Ashtoreth/Easter was both the mother and wife of.
Christians are children of God, and are of the Light. We are not to partake of the darkness, and Easter is a dark and evil day, having nothing to do with Christ. It's a LIE to believe otherwise. We are to walk in the truth:
"Again, therefore, Jesus spake to them, saying, `I am the light of the world; he who is following me shall not walk in the darkness, but he shall have the light of the life.'" -John 8:12
To be partaking in the lie of Easter is to be partaking of the father of lies:
"`Ye are of a father -- the devil, and the desires of your father ye will to do; he was a man-slayer from the beginning, and in the truth he hath not stood, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, of his own he speaketh, because he is a liar -- also his father." -John 8:44
As children of God, we are to come out from the lies of the world, the flesh, and the devil. We are to be separate, and to be lights in this fallen, dark world. We are to follow the truth. Come out of the darkness and lies. Sadly, many "Christian" churches will be partaking of darkness and evil on Easter Sunday. Child of God, don't go, don't partake, and don't be afraid to share the TRUTH, even if that gets you kicked out of your "church." As children of God, the Scriptures tell us that we are all members of the same church - we are Christ's body on this earth.
Be sanctified - be separate from the lies. Don't go to your family's Easter feast, don't go to church on Easter Sunday:
"See that no one shall be carrying you away as spoil through the philosophy and vain deceit, according to the deliverance of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ" -Colossians 2:8
"and be not conformed to
this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your
proving what [is] the will of God -- the good, and acceptable, and
perfect." -Romans 12:2
