The first Messianic prophecy in the Holy Bible is Genesis 3:15:
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
In the above, it is talking about the seed of a woman, instead of a man. This is a virgin birth. The child that comes forth of this virgin will defeat Satan.
Satan knows the Scriptures, so he knew what Genesis 3:15 meant. Remember, Satan has even quoted Scripture to Jesus - see Matthew 4:6.
The devil, who is the great counterfeiter, had a plan. The goal was to create a false fulfillment of the prophecy of Genesis 3:15. Before he could do that, he had to set the wheels in motion...
When Satan fell, he wasn't alone. 1/3 of the angels sided with him, and they fell with him:
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. -Revelation 12:4
The above is both a past, and future fulfillment, as is the below:
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. -Revelation 12:7-8
I believe that Satan and his fallen angels were cast out of heaven, and that's when he embodied the serpent, and beguiled Eve. Although, we see in Scripture that Satan still has access to heaven:
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. -Job 1:6-7
In the tribulation, Satan and his fallen angels will lose complete access to heaven, and will be cast completely to the earth. Satan will play a big part in the tribulation at that point.
Notice the phrase "sons of God" in Job 1:6-7 above? If you read the whole chapter, it is quite clear that "sons of God" were angels - fallen or not, that was one of the titles for them in the Old Testament. (In the New Testament, sons of God takes on a different meaning - those who are born again are adopted into God's family as sons. See 1 John 3:1.)
The phrase "sons of God" may seem familiar, because it makes a striking appearance in Genesis 6:4:
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Let us break down the above verse a bit, because there is a lot of information packed into it.
"There were giants in the earth in those days" - In what days? The next phrase tells us which days - "when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them."
The offspring of these sons of God with the earth women were:
- giants
- mighty men which were of old
- men of renown
Remember, in the book of Job "sons of God" is defined for us - they are angels. The angels in Genesis 6:4 are some of the angels that fell with Satan. Not all of the 1/3 fallen angels mated with human women, as we'll see later in this article.
The offspring of the fallen angels and the human women were devil half breeds. Not half Satan, but half devil - what people today define as demon. Devil is more accurate, but that's another topic. The devil is Satan, but a devil is a demon.
These devil/human half breeds - some giants, some with six fingers and six toes (see 2 Sam. 21:20) some mighty, men of renown - eventually outnumbered full humans on the earth.
Why did God flood the earth? Let's see:
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. -Genesis 6:5
God flooded the earth, because:
1) the wickedness of man was great
and
2) man's thoughts were continually evil
Why did God choose to save Noah and his family? Noah was chosen for two very important reasons. Take a look:
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. -Genesis 6:9b
Noah was:
1) perfect in his generations
and
2) he was a just man who walked with God
Point two is easy to comprehend, but what does point one mean? Here's what I think it means:
Noah was perfect in his generations - he didn't have devil blood in him, and neither did his three sons - Ham, Shem, and Japheth.
The flood cleansed the earth. It destroyed all the evil doers, AND got rid of the devil/human half breeds. Jesus had to come through a purely human blood line, not one that was part devil.
After the flood, Noah's sons and their wives had children, and they were fruitful, and multiplied. Later in the Old Testament, we see the appearance of giants again - devil/human half breeds. Some people believe that the fallen angels must have bred with human women again. I don't think this is the case, because the Bible tells us that the fallen angels who did this are in chains at this very moment. We'll look at that in Scripture in a few moments...
I believe Ham's wife carried demonic blood in her veins. Remember, Noah and his generations were pure of the corrupted bloodline, but that doesn't mean all of his sons' wives had pure blood lines. The reason I think the corrupted bloodline came through Ham's wife, is because of the following:
And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. -Genesis 10:6-8
Nimrod makes for a very interesting study. Nimrod began to be a mighty man - this brings Genesis 6:4 back to remembrance, especially this part - "the same became mighty men." Nimrod "began to be a mighty one in the earth."
If we read further about Nimrod, we see:
He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar." -Genesis 10:9-10
Nimrod was the founder of Babylon. He was their king, and his wife was their queen.
Nimrod's wife is mentioned in Scripture, but not under her given name. We'll get into that in a few minutes, so hang on...
Since Nimrod was the founder of Babylon, it stands to reason that archeologists have uncovered ancient Babylonian tablets that mention him. They did...
Nimrod's wife was Queen Semiramis. They ruled Babylon together. People worshipped them. Nimrod had certain qualities and characteristics, being half devil, half human. He used these characteristics to allow himself to be worshipped by his followers. Queen Semaramis soaked all of this in, as well.
Nimrod died. Semiramis came up pregnant, and proclaimed that she was still a virgin, and that the child she was carrying was Nimrod. She claimed to be a virgin, whose baby was her dead husband, come back to life. The people believed Nimrod was a god. They believed Semaramis was pregnant with their god, who was also the son of their god. This is a fascinating and extensive topic. Below is a link to a book you can read for free, that gets into this in great detail. Please take advantage of this opportunity, and read the below book:
The Two Babylons
This false virgin birth was Satan's plan in counterfeiting the prophecy in Genesis 3:15. This was the beginning of the Mystery Babylon religion. Semiramis and her priests instated religious rituals such as:
- Mother and Child Statues
- The Mass
- The Wafer (Eucharist)
- Purgatory
- The Sovereign Pontiff
- Prayers for the Dead
- The Rosary
- The Sign of the Cross (cross of Baal - +)
- The Confessional
- Clothing and Crowning of Images
- Priests, Monks, and Nuns
- Relic Worship
- Worship of the Sacred Heart
- Extreme Unction
...And there is more. To learn about the origins of the above Mystery Babylon religious practices, click here.
In Genesis chapter 11, we read of a massive temple, or high place, that the Babylonians started to build. I believe it was a massive, ziggurat-type structure, with a statue of Semiramis and her child at the top. Heathen and pagan religions often erected statues in the mouth of caves, in groves of trees, and on high places. Scripture references this.
And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done. For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree. -1 Kings 14:22-23
Some religions today still do this:
The statues in the above pictures are not named Semarmis and Child, but it's the same religion, just the names have been changed.
You see, when the Babylonians in Genesis chapter 11 started making their high place, God stopped them:
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. -Genesis 11:7-9
The people brought their practice of the Mystery Babylon religion to their new homes. They still worshipped Semiramis and child, but since they all spoke different languages, they each had different names for them. There are hundreds or more different names for Semaramis and child. Here are a few:
Krishna and Devaki
Shingmoo
Diana
Ishtar
In the Bible, the name Semaramis is not mentioned. Instead, she is mentioned under one of her deity names - Ashtoreth:
Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father. -1Kings 11:33
The Israelites were to smite and cast out the giants, and those who worshipped Ashtoreth.
All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. -Joshua 13:12
In today's world, there aren't many giants or demonic offspring walking around. They were pretty much exterminated in the battles when the Israelites were going into the Promised Land.
Remember earlier in this article, I mentioned that not all of the 1/3 fallen angels mated with human women? The devils that didn't mate with human women are the devils with Satan now. The devils that did mate with human women are in chains in hell:
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 6
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment -2Peter 2:4
Meanwhile, the devils that are with Satan, work to corrupt God's creation, prevent as many people as they can from getting saved, and more.
While the demonic halfbreed humans are now about gone, their religion remains strong. Mystery Babylon is still here.
Notes
1) The first prophecy of Christ being born of a virgin is in Genesis 3:15
2) Satan, the great deceiver and counterfeiter, set out to countefeit that prophecy
3) Some fallen angels mated with human women, and created half devil(demon)/half human offspring. Some of these were giants, mighty men, and men of renown.
4) Nimrod was a mighty one, and he and his wife were the vehicles used to counterfeit Genesis 3:15
5) Semaramis had a false virgin birth, and claimed her baby was her reincarnated husband, and a god
6) Semarmis and baby became the deities of the Mystery Babylon religion
7) Many religions around the world carry many resemblances to the Mystery Babylon religion

Let us now compare God's 10 Commandments to the ones used by the Roman Catholic church:
Note: The Roman Catholic Ten Commandments are also used in some Lutheran and related churches. These are NOT the Ten Commandments of the Bible, as shown below.
God's 10 Commandments | Roman Catholic Church's 10 Commandments |
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. | 1. I am the LORD your God: you shall not have strange Gods before me. |
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image ... thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them | 2. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. |
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain | 3. Remember to keep holy the LORD'S Day. |
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. | 4. Honor your father and your mother. |
5. Honour thy father and thy mother: | 5. You shall not kill. |
6. Thou shalt not kill. | 6. You shall not commit adultery. |
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery. | 7. You shall not steal. |
8. Thou shalt not steal. | 8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. |
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. | 9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife. |
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. | 10. You shall not covet your neighbor's goods. |
Notice in the first commandment, that God commands that we are not to have any other gods, but Him. The Roman Catholic first commandment doesn't say that; it says just not to have any "strange Gods." They can now justify praying to the dead Mary and saints (necromancy is condemned in the Bible), even though the Bible teaches that we are ONLY to pray to God. Mary is elevated to a God status, as only God can hear all prayers all of the time and know everything. Mary is not omnipresent, omnipotent, or omniscient. Mary cannot hear or answer the prayers of faithful Roman Catholics. The Bible is clear that we are not to pray to the dead, but only to the one living God.
Furthermore, "strange Gods" doesn't say that Catholics can't worship more than one God. Between praying to Mary, and bowing to her statue, they are worshiping Mary, of which they don't consider a "strange" God, yet they worship her as a God, whether that is outright admitted to or not. Actions speak louder than words:
God's second commandment says that we are not to bow down to idols. Roman Catholics have idols of Mary and "patron saints" that they bow down to. Below is a picture of some idols being "blessed:"
The Roman Catholic Ten Commandments, as taught on their official "Holy See" website at http://www.vatican.va/ is missing the second commandment, which forbids bowing to statues, pictures, etc. Instead, they take the third commandment in the place of the second, the fourth in place of the third, etc. This would leave them with only 9 commandments, so to make ten, they simply take the 10th commandment from the Bible, and divide it into two separate commandments. The Roman Catholic church (as well as some Lutheran churches and some others) actually has 9 commandments, but they break up one of the commandments into two, so that it looks like 10 commandments.
Who is the Saviour? As you may already know, the first prophecy of Christ in the Bible is Genesis 3:15, where we are told that He will be born from a virgin, the seed of a woman. Now take a look below:
Vatican says - "I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel." - The Roman Catholic version of Genesis 3:15 Reference - The Roman Catholic Douay-Rheims Bible
The Word of God says - And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Vatican says when one partakes of Communion (they call it the Eucharist) that person must believe that they are literally eating Jesus’ very body, and drinking His very blood. "by doing so they signified that all who eat the one broken bread, Christ, enter into communion with him and form but one body in him.[146]" Catchesim of the Roman Catholic Church
The Word of God says And when he [Jesus] had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. -1 Corinthians 11:24-26.
Jesus could not have been instituting the literal eating of His flesh, and the literal drinking of His blood, else He would have been eating and drinking Himself as well, and let us not forget that He was sitting right there.
"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." -John 6:35
If the Communion is the literal eating of Christ's flesh, and the literal drinking of His blood, then it must also be true that when one comes to Jesus, one will no longer have need of any food or drink. Obviously, the above is spiritual, not literal. The same is true with The Lord's Supper. Jesus explains that to us, after telling a crowd of people that they must eat his flesh and drink his blood. He said:
"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." -John 6:63
Vatican says "At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood. This he did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until he should come again ...'"[133]" Catchesim of the Roman Catholic Church
The Word of God says When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. -John 19:30
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he [Jesus] did once, when he offered up himself. -Hebrews 7:27
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. -Hebrews 9:24-28
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man [Jesus], after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; -Hebrews 10:10-12
Vatican says "I do not believe that they are passing personal judgment on these priests, but what they are saying, it seems to me, is that they want celibate priests who can dedicate their whole lives to the Lord and to his people. No other commitment will do." Celibacy: Fidelity to one’s priestly identity
and
"1. The law of abstinence forbids the use of meat, but not of eggs, the products of milk or condiments made of animal fat." - Paul VI on Abstinence
The Word of God says Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. -1 Timothy 4:1-3
The Most Important Doctrine of all is This:
The Word of God says And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -John 8:32
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6
Roman Catholics: a call to action...
The Vatican and the Bible say different things. The Vatican and Roman Catholic Church are made of up people. Will you follow them, or will you follow the Lord and His Bible? You cannot follow both the teachings of the Bible and that of the Vatican, as they teach so many things adverse to one another. Trying to follow both is akin to being against abortion, and at the same time, paying for the abortions of people who can't afford one, as a charity.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served ..... in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. -Joshua 24:15

Comments from a few Readers
I have followed you on and off for quite some time now. You were the very first blog I believe I ever read. I was raised Catholic, and was saved and came to Jesus as my Savior at age 21. I am so very glad you wrote this, it is something I have struggled with for 11 years - I am now 32. I have so many of the catholic teachings that I 'mistake' and then must scour my Bible to ensure I am teaching my children the right path. I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I will be printing this out and putting it in my binder as my daily reminder. It is beautiful! Brought me to tears and I wanted to say Thank You again. -Leagh
Thank you for your in-depth blog. I was incarcerated in Catholic school for 7 years, and when I was paroled, I felt that I was good enough to get into heaven. I never joined the faith, but I was heavily influenced(indoctrinated).
When I was 32, I became a true believer and have been a Christian for 10 years. Praise God!! I am amazed at the differences - some seemingly subtle - in the Catholic Bible vs. the KJV. I never even realized that the 10 Commandments were different and that should be a no- brainer. The Genesis reference to the seed/head/heel blows my mind. Satan is the author of confusion. Amen. I admit I double checked some of what you wrote because I am from the show-me-state,:-) and as usual, you are spot on. -Carol
I love it when you post things like this. Thank you so much. I was raised Catholic, and what you are speaking of was pounded into my head as a child. I was taught that I couldn't read the Bible on my own; that only my priest could understand it "correctly". I was taught that Mary is "right up there" with Christ, and that praying the Rosary was just as important as any prayer - and that praying repetitiously (sp?) was the only way to get to Heaven. Of course, that was in addition to confessing my sins to my priest. I left the Church when I was 18, and didn't claim any religion for quite some time. After I had my daughter, I felt that something was missing from my life. I found your blog, was saved, and am studying the Bible, with tons of help from you. And the rest is history. Thank you for all you do. -Kristin
Just a brief note, I am a missionary in Peru, a very traditional Catholic country. My wife showed me your blog comparing Catholic teaching and Biblical doctrine. It was very well done. Just one note, the word "Eucharist" is not a Roman Catholic word, it is the literal English transliteration of the original Greek used by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 11. The word in Greek is eucharisteo and it literally means "good grace" or thanksgiving. Many Biblical churches around the world, especially in the East still use the word in various forms for Communion.
Thank you for all the work you have done and are doing. I am sure that God will use your dedication, research, and obvious love for Him and His word to draw you closer to Him and to be a blessing to many people.
May God richly bless you and yours -Mike
